Last Semester's Cumulative GPA was a 3.7! This was one of the highest for a student organization on campus! Great job guys and keep up the good work!
This semester's been a dash and Spring is quickly approaching. We inducted 9 new men into KYX in December and we're starting to establish a larger presence on campus. The vision of our fore fathers is beginning to take place. With more people, we are adapting with positive outcomes. This semester showed an increase in serving, which was one of our largest goals, continuing to increase in Spring 2012 with our new connection to Christ Central Ministries. We have gone from having group service projects once every 3-4 weeks to having opportunities every one or two weeks. In addition, there were more well planned out social and pledge events, including our first Annual KYX Pledge Challenge! It was tough, but a blast, showing how we are all stronger than we thought possible. We became better connected with our Sister Sorority, SAO, which provided opportunities to get to know our sisters in Christ as well as brothers. Overall, God has provided us with more blessings than we could have foreseen and it is amazing to see the growth in everyone's spiritual journey as well as in leadership ability. Spring will be more hard work, but more fun and I am stoked to see how each brother grows. (Just a preview: Snowboarding, Beach, Mission Trip, UNITE!, Prayer Nights, serving our city, loving on kids, old people and the homeless, brotherhood, and much more!) I am genuinely proud to be part of KYX. Have a great rest of Christmas break! I can't wait to see the miracles on campus this semester.

A new testimony page to read about how God has used KYX to change peoples life can now be found at the bottom of the home page! Please feel free to read these and read what actual brothers have to say about the work Jesus Christ is doing in this fraternity!
On Saturday, April 16th 2011, 6 guys were initiated into the Pi Chapter of Kappa Upsilon Chi. It has been a great semester getting to know these amazing guys as we were able to teach them as well as learn from them. They show great promise to further God's Kingdom and the mission of Kappa Upsilon Chi.

An alumni sub page has been created under the members tab at the bottom. This is so our chapter alumni can be updated with us and what we are doing. There will be pictures of all alumni based on what class they were in. Also comments will be added to the page for alumni so they know what events and such are coming up for them.
3rd Annual UNITE worship night is set for March 25, 2011. This is a night for the sole purpose of prasing and glorifying Christ. It is set to start at 8pm. We are having the Justin Putnam Band lead worship and Chris Causey of Taylors Baptist Church as our speaker. This year we invited High School Seniors to join us for this amazing night of worship at First Baptist Church of Columbia in the Family Life Center. The past couple years has had a crowd of around 175-200 and we hope to see this number grow.
On January 29th, the Pi Chapter of Kappa Upsilon Chi inducted 6 amazing guys into its Zeta Class; Zach DeMoya, William Hallmark, Andrew McCraw, Ryan Miller, James Mitman and Cameron Turner. All the actives are really excited about this class and to see their faith grow. God gave us these guys to disciple into becoming stronger men of God. Some amazing friendships have already started to show and will only get better as we progress though the semester.
Kappa Upsilon Chi will have a table at the organizational fair on Greene St in front of Russell January 19th from 11am-2pm. If you are interested or have questions please stop by and talk to some of the brothers. This fair allows us to tell you how this fraternity can offer you strong accountability, outreach, and brotherhood molding you into a strong Man of God!
