Fall 2011 Recap

Hey guys,

This semester's been a dash and Spring is quickly approaching.  We inducted 9 new men into KYX in December and we're starting to establish a larger presence on campus.  The vision of our fore fathers is beginning to take place. With more people, we are adapting with positive outcomes.  This semester showed an increase in serving, which was one of our largest goals, continuing to increase in Spring 2012 with our new connection to Christ Central Ministries.  We have gone from having group service projects once every 3-4 weeks to having opportunities every one or two weeks.  In addition, there were more well planned out social and pledge events, including our first Annual KYX Pledge Challenge!  It was tough, but a blast, showing how we are all stronger than we thought possible.  We became better connected with our Sister Sorority, SAO, which provided opportunities to get to know our sisters in Christ as well as brothers.  Overall, God has provided us with more blessings than we could have foreseen and it is amazing to see the growth in everyone's spiritual journey as well as in leadership ability.  Spring will be more hard work, but more fun and I am stoked to see how each brother grows.  (Just a preview: Snowboarding, Beach, Mission Trip, UNITE!, Prayer Nights, serving our city, loving on kids, old people and the homeless, brotherhood, and much more!)  I am genuinely proud to be part of KYX.  Have a great rest of Christmas break!  I can't wait to see the miracles on campus this semester.

Love yall,
